SUNRISE - Woman sues two men on two counts of negligence after a collision on the Florida Turnpike.

The Plaintiff, Audrianna Merisma, filed a complaint on September 2, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against Marion Chess and Rick Lenard Murray, alleging Marion operated a vehicle negligently so that it collided with the rear of Audrianna's vehicle on the Florida Turnpike exit ramp.

According to the complaint, on September 5, 2012, the Defendant Marion Chess operated a motor vehicle with the consent and proper authority of the owner and Defendant Rick Murray. On the first count, Marion negligently operated and/or maintained the motor vehicle causing a rear-end collision with the Plaintiff. On the second count, Rick negligently authorized and permitted Marion to operate his vehicle and is liable to the Plaintiff for the injuries she sustained as a result of this negligence. Those injuries sustained include, but are not limited to; disfigurement, loss of earnings, and the expense of hospitalization. She will suffer these losses in the future.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against Marion Chess and Rick Lenard Murray for compensatory damages in the amount of $15,000, costs, and a trial by jury of all issues. She is represented by Andrew J. Weinstein, Esq. of Weinstein Law Firm in Coral Springs.
