CITY OF FT. LAUDERDALE - According to a complaint filed on September 7, 2016, Suntrust Banks is being sued for negligence after a trip and fall occur on one of their properties in Ft. Lauderdale.

On November 28, 2014, Sheila Jones tripped and fell due to a crevice at the entrance of the bank and suffered serious and permanent injuries.

She alleges that Suntrust was negligent in allowing the crevice to form and failing to fix it and/or warn the Plaintiff about it.

The plaintiff demands judgment for damages in excess of  $15k against Suntrust Banks and is represented by Hubert McGinley, Esq. of Schwed, Adams, Sobel & McGinley, P.A in Palm Beach Gardens.
