SUNRISE - On November 18, 2016, the Plaintiff in a negligence action filed a complaint against Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., alleging they were responsible for a slip and fall incident.

8According to the complaint, on October 12, 2014, the Plaintiff was shopping inside Walmart when she was caused to slip and fall on a liquid substance in an aisle of the store. The Plaintiff states Walmart had been negligent by failing to maintain the premises in a safe condition as well as failing to caution customers of the dangerous condition that existed on the floor.

The Plaintiff is alleging that the Defendant is responsible for the injury sustained by the Plaintiff. As a result of the negligence of Walmart, the Plaintiff has suffered but not limited to severe and grievous injuries. The negligence by the Defendant has led to expenses of medical and nursing care treatment. The losses are either permanent or continuing and will result in future losses for the Plaintiff.

The Plaintiffs demand judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000, plus costs, and demands a trial by jury. Additionally, the Plaintiffs are represented by Jordan M. Kirby of Rubenstein Law, P.A in Plantation.
