HOLLYWOOD - The City of Hollywood and Florida Department of Transportation are being sued for negligence after a bicycle incident occurred. 

According to the complaint, on August 25, 2015 the Plaintiff, Morton Esan was riding his bike in Hollywood when a pothole in the street caused him to injure himself and incur medical expenses due to the Defendants negligence. 

20Esan alleges the Defendants created a foreseeable zone of risk of harm by failing to properly and adequately operate, maintain, warn, and inspect the road to ensure the area was safe and free from potholes. 

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendants for damages in excess of $15,000, interest, and taxable costs and is represented by Harry Rosen, Esq. of The Law Offices Of Harry M. Rosen in Weston.
