HOLLYWOOD- Man and wife from Miami-Dade County allege two counts of negligence against another couple.

Plaintiffs, Legimin and Shirley Singotani, filed a complaint on September 1, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against Jeorge and Virginia Villabona alleging Virginia negligently operated a vehicle, causing a collision with Legimin.

According to the complaint, on November 28, 2012, the Defendant, Virginia, was carelessly and negligently operating a motor vehicle. By improperly changing lanes, Virginia's vehicle collided with the Plaintiff, Legimin's vehicle. Due to her negligence, Legimin suffered from bodily injuries including, but not limited to; physical handicap, mental pain and suffering, and the loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life. Legimin will continue to suffer these losses and impairments in the future.

On the first count, Virginia is found negligent for failing to operate the vehicle in a reasonably safe manner and Jeorge is vicariously liable for her negligence. On the second count, Shirley claims damages for the loss of her husband's medical expenses, services, comfort, society, and consortium.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against Jeorge and Virginia Villabona for compensatory damages in the amount of $15,000, costs, and a trial by jury of all issues. He is represented by Howard N. Galbut, Esq. of Howard N. Galbut, P.A. in Miami.
