SUNRISE - A complaint was filed on October 10, 2016 stating that ABC Liquors, Inc. is being held responsible for a slip and fall that occurred on the premises. 

According to the complaint, on December 29, 2016, Plaintiff Martine Souverain was lawfully on the property when a dirty, slippery, substance that was left on the floor caused the Plaintiff to fall and sustain serious injuries. These injuries include, but are not limited to, pain and suffering, physical handicap, suffered lost wages,loss of ability to earn money, and the inability to lead a normal life. 

8The Plaintiff holds ABC Liquors responsible for the incident and alleges the Defendant negligently and carelessly maintained the premises by allowing a dirty, slippery substance to be left on the floor in an area where patrons are expected to walk.

Souverain now demands judgment for damages against the Defendant and a trial by jury and is represented by William C. Ruggiero, Esq. of Law Offices of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
